 Illinois Society of Orthodontists
Installs New Officers
On April 7th, 2008, the Illinois Society of Orthodontists installed its new slate of officers for 2008-09. They are:

| | ISO Presents Dr. Carla Evans with Teacher of the Year Award
Dr. Carla Evans (left),Chairman of the Department of Orthodontics at University of Illinois at Chicago Dental School, received the Teacher of the Year Award from the Illinois Society of Orthodontists at its April 7th, 2009 meeting. On hand were the residents from her first graduating class in 1998, who spoke of her dedication and strong commitment to orthodontics and to teaching. In addition to her teaching duties, she has been extremely involved in the American Association of Orthodontists Council on Orthodontic Education, serving as its Chair. The ISO is grateful to Dr. Evans for her tireless efforts on our professions behalf.

| ISDS President Dr. Keith Dickey Addresses Illinois Society of Orthodontists
ISDS President Keith Dickey spoke to the ISO during its business meeting on April 7th, 2009, discussing his Bridge for a Healthy Smile campaign to provide dental care for working families in Illinois. He also updated the group of current political events in Springfield and what the ISDS is doing on the members’ behalf.
