Dr. Will A. Andrews
Dr. Will A. Andrews completed orthodontic training at the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) in 1992. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a member of the Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists and an assistant clinical professor at UCSF. He is the co-director of the Andrews Foundation for Orthodontic Education and Research and is the research editor for the Andrews Journal of Orthodontics and Orofacial Harmony©TM. He has lectured worldwide about the Six Elements of Orthodontic Philosophy.
Since the 1970s, The Six Keys to (Normal) Optimal Occlusion have proven to be both optimal and universal treatment goals for teeth. Jaw surgery advancements now allow orthodontists to offer patients more treatment options. However, there is little concurrence among orthodontists about treatment goals for Arch (shape and lengths), AP Jaw Positions, BL Jaw Positions, SI Jaw Positions, and Pogonion Prominence. In the 1980s and 1990s, research at the Andrews Foundation led to treatment goals for those five areas that also are optimal and universal. These new goals, along with the Six Keys (Occlusion), are called The Six Elements of Orofacial HarmonyTM. When each of the six areas is optimal, a person will have optimal orofacial harmony to the extent possible within dentistry. Like the Six Keys, the Six Elements work for nearly everyone, regardless of race or gender.    Map to Drury Lane
